From student to mentor

Our story

Aesthetic Nurse Mentors was conceived from our personal journeys as aesthetic practitioners. Both of us navigated the complex landscape of aesthetic medicine, often feeling isolated without a mentor or a community to turn to for guidance and support. This shared experience highlighted the need for a dedicated space where nurses could connect, learn, and grow together.

Commitment to education

Education has been crucial for our careers. Jude earned the Level 7 qualification in Aesthetic Medicine in 2017, setting a high standard. We completed our master’s degrees in 2021, and Elaine is now pursuing a PhD.

Meet Elaine Williams

Elaine is the Co-Founder of Aesthetic Nurse Mentors and Clinical Director of EOS Aesthetics, a CQC-registered clinic in Ascot. With over 30 years in healthcare and 15+ in aesthetics, she holds multiple postgraduate qualifications and is completing a doctorate on Botulinum Toxin’s effects on mood.

A published researcher, lecturer, and Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Aesthetic Nursing, Elaine is a multi-award finalist and Regional Leader for BAMAN. She is passionate about mentoring and advancing safe, ethical practice, blending clinical excellence with compassionate care.

Meet Jude Dunican

With over 20 years in laser and skincare and 11 years as an aesthetic nurse, I combine hands-on patient care with clinical education across thriving practices in Bromley, Wokingham, and Marylebone. Holding an MSc in Aesthetic Medicine, Level 7 Injectables, and a PgDip in Medical Education, I serve as a trainer for Revanesse and HA-Derma.

A published author and speaker at industry events like ACE and BAMAN, I’ve also been recognised as a finalist in the 2025 Aesthetic Awards. As a Co-Founder of Aesthetic Nurse Mentors, I aim to empower nurses to build safe, confident, and fulfilling careers in aesthetics.
